Synopsis

Benny is RMJM¡¦s Environmental Design (R.E.D.) group leader in Asia, and he acts as an in-house consultant for RMJM architectural design teams of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore offices. Benny has more than 14 years experience in building performance simulations, including building aerodynamics simulation, computational daylighting, solar heat gain control & green building rating system. Benny is currently also appointed as a part-time lecturer in the Hong Kong University focusing on the inter-disciplinary design studio, and an Honorary Research Fellow of the Center for Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK, specializing in the aerodynamics of the medical environment.

This detailed masterplan covers the commercial and secondary cultural buildings that form the context to Abu Dhabi¡¦s proposed major museum district. At the heart to this development is a major canal for which RMJM and Strata were also responsible for the design. The low rise development¡¦s character is strongly related to regional architectural typologies.
